Who I Am
Thanks so much for checking out my site. Based in New York and raised in Missouri, I spend the time between acting work reading, going on walks, playing board games, absorbing trivia, and working in childcare. I'm lucky to have close personal and professional relationships both in the city and states away, and I love a good long phone call.
About My Work
I’m grateful to have worked on a variety of projects in the city, from staged readings in warehouses to epic Greek tragedies. I’m fulfilled in any role that gives me a challenge, at my happiest when I’m given a puzzle to work my way through in rehearsals. My current favorite problem-solving strategy is digging through movement efforts and seeing what sticks, and I spend time when I'm not in a production or a class finding new ones through books. Right now, I'm most excited by classical theater, and new work development.
Here are some more things that really excite me as elements in plays: Storytelling through movement! An ensemble cast. Heartbreaking moments for the comic relief, hilarious moments for the straight man. Narrators! Dark comedy. Breakthroughs for quiet characters
